About AAGE Conferences
The AAGE hosts an annual conference, bringing together employers from around the nation to learn, develop and network.
AAGE Conferences allow delegates to focus on broader issues impacting on the industry, to have the opportunity to learn from industry experts, discover the latest trends and to discuss ideas and solutions to handle industry challenges.
The conference format encourages the open sharing of knowledge and experience, which serves to elevate the graduate recruitment industry as an increasingly important, strategic part of a business.
Plenty of networking opportunities are offered to delegates, including discussion groups held during the course of the day sessions, a Social Evening held on the first night of the conference and our annual Gala Dinner held on the second night of the conference. An official After Party is also included in the timetable for those with remaining energy!
The annual black tie Gala Dinner incorporates the annual AAGE Graduate Recruitment Industry Awards (AGRIAs) presentation, aimed to reward and recognise excellence in the graduate recruitment industry.
Employer delegates also have the opportunity to attend the optional FREE Pre-Conference Leader or Practitioner Seminar, to be held concurrently on Wednesday 27th October at 9.00am. The Practitioner session is for those new to the industry (0-2 years' experience) and the Leader session is for those responsible for managing strategic direction (2+ years' experience).
2021 marks the 33rd year that the AAGE has hosted a Graduate Recruitment & Development Conference in Australia.
Who Attends
The AAGE Conference is ideal for those involved with graduate recruitment and development, including human resources professionals, university careers advisors, service providers and professional associations with graduate programs.
We expect between 400-450 delegates to register each year, including approximately 135 different employer organisations.
